Usage Profile

Usage Profile is the name given to describe a particular mix of transactions within a specific Livelink (Content Server) based application. An Usage Profile provides the functions (groups) used within a Livelink system and the percentage or frequency that each function (group) appears. Usage Profile data usually includes transactional times which can then be used to size / scale a Livelink system.

Administrator

GATE Village is simple to use and most Village Members will find that the interface provided is sufficient to meet their needs, but those members running a Trusted Neighbourhood and Business Premium Account holders have options available to them that they probably do not want to share with all their fellow Trusted Neighbours. These tasks are usually performed by Administrators.

The types of tasks an Administrator might do is to rename a content type, revert to a previous revision, manage who can access private pages, create SHOUTout and other special content types, and enable/disable certain functionality for users they are respsonsible for.

The main GATE Village Administrator account is called "gvadmin", the user "GATE" has some adminitrative permissionsn but is restricted from accessing many content types (associated with Trusted Neighbourhoods and Business Premium Accounts).

Even though GATEGATE Village is a state-of-the-art content management system, there are times when a business or even an individual must deal with external files. Possibly for legal concerns (to obtain a signature), possibly for convenience sake (some people prefer to read / edit using paper), whatever the reason, it can rarely be avoided.

minutes

Minutes are a special content type designed to be connected with public events and private events. Like most other content types within GATE Village, minutes are part of the content management system, have revision control, can include images and other information objects.

Minutes are separate from but compatible with event project spaces.
